Three days had been since my soul seemed to get tired
I just kept looking up, waiting for a thought to come by
But nothing went inside, maybe at least I tried
Then it was past midnight, still I didn't know what was happening to me, and why.
I stopped holding onto grudges, guessed it would bring me no luck
There I found my brain being stocked
Felt useless when the time held by my own hands could not just be unlocked
Wondered how I would wake up because it still sucked.
My hands were still wet even though I practiced giving it some rest
Was not effective albeit I gave my best
Still my mind was put into a test
If trust was a word I could define even if I no longer challenge the rest.
I still looked up and took a deep breath
I had known that my thoughts were merely set
I did not let bad and fishy imaginations to cloud up my bet
I just held onto that courage which brought me near the target.
A sleepless night, I wondered why
Some told that someone was thinking of me that time
The subconscious mind, still, had fear of the rhyme my heart desired
For as long as I couldn't trust myself, I could trust no one.
